Asia Bagus!
Fuck the NST furore, fuck the bird flu, fuck the Tammy sex video and fuck the Malaysia football team!
Why can't they do or achieve something meaningful?
Luckily I have something to cheer on..

Damn, I feel proud to be Asian.

The Perfect Grandma?
Watched In Her Shoes few days ago. The movie was quite touching, although I didn't expect it to last more than 2 hours.

I think the most outstanding cast was Shirley MacLaine. She overshined Cameron and Toni even though she only appeared halfway through the story. She also overshadowed Nicole and Jen Aniston in Bewitched and Rumor Has It.

Some interesting facts of Shirley:
1. Made her film debut in a movie directed by Alfred Hitchcock
2. Won an Oscar for best actress in 1983's Terms of Endearment
3. She has 10 best-selling books
4. She worked with the famous Rat Pack in the original Ocean's Eleven
5. She is sister to Warren Beatty
6. She has a website
7. She is into Astrology, Aroma Therapy, Health & Environmental, Pets, Numerology and Reincarnation
How cool is that! Wouldn't you like to have a grandma like Shirley?

The Super Canggih Sports
Have you been following the Torino Winter Olympics lately? Did you realise Astro has the olympics coverage on channels 901, 902 and 903?
I do. And one of the reasons I like winter sports, is that their outfit and equipments are so damn cool okay! Don't believe me? See for yourself!

What do you think of Winter Olympics? Which sport fascinated you most?

Were you at Sg Besi-KL Highway last night?
It was like totally What.The.Fuck right? No accident, not raining, no construction and yet I still stucked there for one and a half hours. Just from Sri Petaling to KLCC! KNN!
Anyway, this morning was all good:
1. Managed to get my car battery replaced. By the way the price for car batteries are going up by 15% on March 1. So better recharge now folks.
2. Liverpool defeated Arsenal 1-0

3. Houston Rockets scored huge win over LA Clippers 128-97

4. This shit cracks me up..

The Woman I Want To Be!
Came across a female blogger, and damn I tell you, if I were born as a woman, I want to be just like her! She's got freakin everything! Pretty face, beautiful figure, cute boyfriend, wonderful job (although I don't know what her job is), and most importantly, she freakin travels a lot!! Just look where she travelled for 2005, I repeat, only 2005!!

On top of that, Taiwan, India (3 times!!), NYC, San Fransico, London, LA, Frankfurt and Dubai. All in one goddamn year!! Jeles sial. Then I look at her dog..

Too bad she didn't update since last November. Probably she travels to Moon already.
p/s: She's back, and she quit her job! She quit the dream job! Good lord..

Syriana - Are You Lost?
This is one of the best geopolitical thrillers in recent years. However, the movie is quite complicated, at least not the type that entertains most of our audience. I myself have problem understanding the plot sometimes, thanks to the badly done subtitle.

Puzzle 1: George Clooney got his award based on supporting role. Who's playing the lead role then? Or there was no lead role in this movie at all?

Puzzle 2: Why they show the execution of Prince Nasir in the dessert, but not the suicide bombing of Wasim?

Puzzle 3: If CIA is so capable of eliminating their "enemies", then why are Ahmadinejad, Castro, JI, Abu Sayyaf and al-Qaeda leaders still walking around? Somehow there must be some complicated conspiracy behind of everything, because somehow I believe US Army, if not CIA, is capable of performing such act. Ya know, more like not that they can't, but they don't want to, kinda shit.

Of course, for people like us, they don't have to bomb you with a guided missile. Peeling the nails of your finger will do.

Lord of War or Warlord?
After some non-stop gambling and open-house visiting, me and Mae decided to go Lot 10/Sg Wang for some shopping. She got herself a very nice pair of blue fish-skin court shoe, while I satisfied myself with some great DVDs.
First up, Lord of War (My rating: 8.5/10)

Not a big fan of Nicholas Cage, but definitely this is one of his best performance! Somehow he's still able to look so innocent, even when he's the most successful arms dealer. Jared Leto and Ethan Hawke were fine. But most surprisingly I notice a familiar face when Ava Fontaine (Yuri's wife) appeared.

Even Tyra Banks, Piper Perabo and Maria Bello didn't made it as big as Bridget, on the silver screen.
Still, who would forget that bar?

Levin's wedding on Boxing Day (26-12-2005)
I was damn pei that morning, coz we had to wake up at 7am to fetch the bride from Seremban. The night before we drank until 3am for Levin's bachelor night. Nevertheless, we were still very semangat, plus I don't have to drive :)

Aston's wedding on New Year's Day (01-01-2006)
Mae's cousin, Aston held his wedding with Faye at The Saujana (formerly Hyatt Saujana). The deco was done by their friends and it was very nice and very oriental.
Michelle's wedding at Legend Hotel (07-01-2006)
Another cousin of Mae, Michelle, is married to Stewart, a Kiwi from Wellington. Lots of friends and relatives were there, and the couple even invited us to their honeymoon suite, for post-dinner drinking session.
