A Tribute to Didi

Dietmar Hamann (1999 - 2006), the only German player I love.

Didi holds the record for the number of completed passes in the English Premiership.

Who could forget your performance in Istanbul 2005 and in FA Cup 2006? You were simply the best!

Thank you Didi, we will miss you.

PS: Don't worry, I'm sure Klinsmann feels sorry now for not including you in this WC squad. Padan muka him!

He is more like a defensive kind of player, very good technically... I mean very "German"... But one thing, he is not agile and mobile as Makelele or Viera. That's where he losses out I guess...

I like Didi too. The old Liv is breaking up. Sigh.

Yup. German shouldn't have dropped him. He's cute innit :P

keropok: yes, very much.

lily: yes, he is. in fact i saw him on ESPN Sportscenter last nite and he actually looks younger now. With Didi around, Man City will be able to push forward Joey Barton and Claudio Reyna.

promising indeed.

Did was the only German I actually liked. Sad to see him go because his temperament and poise helped us winthe champs league and fa cup!

Mr D: Same here. His no-nonsense style of play contributes a lot to Liverpool's success in recent years.

Now that we have Alonso, too bad he has to go.

All the best to him.
