Liverpool vs Portsmouth: Stat Attack!

Liverpool are protecting a 23 match unbeaten run at Anfield in the Premiership since Chelsea became the last visiting team to score more than one goal in a 4-1 win 13 months ago. That run is made up of 20 wins and three draws with only seven goals conceded. They have kept 16 clean sheets in that time.

Go get them boys!

wit so many midfield players on the crock, d.agger (geddit? heh) is partering the Boss in the middle. JP & Luis along the flanks.

with dirk and crouchy /robbie up front, we shud hv no problem. pompey has injury problems too and if we put away our chances, that's another 3 pts in the bag.

2-0 and we're up to 4th.

visiting teams now choke the midfield because they know our wingers are CRAP and there's no quality target man up front. maybe kuyt, but he's just one man. crouchy still suck at headers and has a lousy 2nd touch.

a positive note from last nite was that one of our academy kids; danny guthrie was sent in to sub luis (who had one of his effing days).

that kid looked good on the ball. another gerrard perhaps?
